Oder auch notwendig, um nach einer extrem aufreibenden Aufgabe wieder ins Lot zu kommen, in einen Zustand der Ausgeglichenheit. Work-Life-Balance nennt man das, wenn Menschen außer ihrem Job noch ein Leben führen. Aber besonders Leuten, die sehr viel Verantwortung tragen, fällt das oft schwer: das Loslassen, das Neustarten, die Erkenntnis, dass man vielleicht doch nicht ganz so wichtig ist, wie man geglaubt hat.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Der ehemalige Vizekanzler und Bundeswirtschaftsminister Robert Habeck steckt gerade mitten im Versuch des Loslassens. Bei der Bundestagswahl im Frühjahr 2025 hatte er als Kandidat der Grünen ein eher enttäuschendes Ergebnis geholt. Und der gebürtige Lübecker zog die Konsequenzen: Er verzichtete auf sein Bundestagsmandat und zog sich aus der aktiven Politik zurück. Habeck heuerte bei einem dänischen Think-Tank als „Senior Analyst“ an, lehrte als Gastdozent an Universitäten und trat mit seiner Show „Habeck Life“ im Berliner Ensemble auf. Einer wie er braucht einfach ein breites Betätigungsfeld, eine Arena, die er bespielen kann. Aber bekommt man so wirklich den Kopf frei?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Die vielleicht wichtigste Maßnahme zur Resozialisierung des Robert Habeck war die Recherche zu seinem neuen Buch „Arctic Meltdown“. Es handelt von den Folgen des Klimawandels im hohen Norden, von dem sich verschärfenden Machtkampf zwischen Russen, Europäern, Amerikanern und Chinesen in dieser bisher weitgehend unzugänglichen Region; es geht um militärische Operationsfelder, hybride Kriegsführung, Energiesicherheit, Ressourcen. Erstaunlicherweise geht es in diesem 400 Seiten dicken Buch nahezu gar nicht um Robert Habeck, es ist ein Sachbuch im besten Sinne, kein verkapptes Bekenntnisbuch. Habeck spricht natürlich nicht nur über Geopolitik, sondern auch über seine Entscheidung, erst einmal Abstand zu gewinnen. „Als ich aus der Politik rausgegangen bin, war das eine persönliche Zäsur. Ich musste alles ändern, und gleichzeitig bleibe ich ja ein politischer Mensch“, sagt er im SZ-Interview.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ja, es ist schon eine Kunst, den richtigen Zeitpunkt zu erwischen, um hocherhobenen Hauptes abzutreten.
